Inoli Shree Somanatheswara Temple

 

 

Inoli Shree Somanatheswara Temple a famous Lord Shiva temple located Inoli in Mangalore Taluk, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, India. This temple is situated on the peak of Devanda Betta.

History

There were five Somanatha temples around the area: Ullala, Ammembala, Ira, Inoli, and Konaje. Inoli Temple was destroyed couple of centuries ago as European invasion began in India. With assistance from the residents of Inoli and the surrounding areas, the temple is currently undergoing reconstruction.The location is being renovated, and there is a sizable garden outside the temple that is a great place to get some fresh air and take in the scenery.

Timing

Pooja Timings are Everyday Morning 7 am, 12:30 pm and Evening 7 pm

Temple will remain closed after the Pooja.

Lunch is Served after the Mahapooja at 1:00 pm daily.

Morning or Evening is the best time to visit the place.

When you arrive at the place, you will forget all the tiredness and you could enjoy the beauty of nature, greenery and serene atmosphere. Beautiful view of Natravathi River from top of the hill.
